Meet Leena Hakkanen, M.S., SPHR, of Lennu.
Leena Hakkanen’s broad Human Resources generalist experience both in US and Europe allows for planned, emergent coverage for a gap in your HR organization. Leena has over 13 years of progressive generalist HR experience in several industries, including telecommunications, construction and coffee.
Leena completed her Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration) degree at the top rated Helsinki School of Economics, in Helsinki, Finland in 1988, and is additionally qualified for SPRH certification by the Human Resources Certification Institute since 2006, at senior level.
Leena has a proven track of record of being highly professional, knowledgeable and trusted HR business partner for the management, simultaneously serving as an advocate for the company’s employees. Leena has a successful background of being both strategic HR planner, and highly capable daily hands-on HR professional.
Leena is member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Lake Washington Human Resource Association (LWHRA) and the Finnish Association of Business School Graduates (SEFE).
Leena is native of Finland, and resident of our beautiful State of Washington since 2003. Prior to that she lived in The Netherlands for five years.
In her free time Leena enjoys the outdoors, traveling, family and friends. Besides English Leena speaks also Finnish and Dutch.
